Cocktail Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. hot peppers, remove seeds
    1 pt. sugar
    1 tsp. plain salt
    2 lb. beef wieners
    1/2 c. oil
    1 pt. vinegar
    2 regular size bottles ketchup
Preparation
    Cut each pepper and wiener into 3 equal pieces.
    Mix oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and catsup together.
    Add cut up peppers and wieners.
    Cook over moderate heat until peppers are tender.
    Pack into sterilized jars and seal.
    Any kind of wieners will do.
