Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1 lb. real butter (room temperature)
    6 eggs (room temperature)
    4 c. flour
    3/4 c. milk (room temperature)
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar for at least 7 minutes.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat one minute after each addition.
    Add flour and milk alternately, beating well after each addition.
    Begin and end with flour.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
