Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 sticks margarine
    3 eggs (at room temperature)
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream fat and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time, until mixture is smooth and creamy.
    Sift flour and baking powder and stir into mixture.
    Gently place in 8 or 9-inch greased and floured tin and bake for 30 minutes at 360\u00b0.
    Split along centre when cool and sandwich with jam and whipped cream.
