Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 or 2 large green peppers, cut in chunks
    1/2 c. diced onion
    1/2 c. celery, cut in 1/2-inch slices
    1 clove garlic
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 (7 oz.) can imported tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. water
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. thyme
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. cooked and cleaned shrimp
Preparation
    Saute peppers, onions,\tcelery\tand garlic in oil until tender.
    Stir
    in remaining ingredients except shrimp.
    Simmer 15 minutes, stirring
    occasionally.
    Add
    shrimp
    to sauce and simmer ten minutes.
    Serve with rice.
