Pork Jambalaya - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean pork, cubed
1 lb. smoked sausage, diced
2 Tbsp. oil
1 small bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, diced
1 c. celery, diced
3 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
4 c. water
2 c. raw rice
Preparation

Heat oil in heavy pot; slowly brown meat and sausage and sprinkle with flour and blend in.
Add onion, pepper, celery, seasoning and 1 cup water.
Cook very slowly over low heat for about 10 minutes or until vegetables wilt.
Add remaining water and rice.
Bring to
a boil, stirring frequently to mix meat and rice.
Cook over low heat, covered, until rice is tender.
Serves 6 to 8.
