Skillet Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. white cornmeal
1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
about 1 Tbsp. oil (for skillet)
Preparation

Combine all ingredients; stir until all dry ingredients are moistened.
Place cast-iron skillet in a 475\u00b0 oven until skillet is hot.
When skillet is heated, spoon in mixture and bake for 20 minutes.
Serve hot, buttered.
