Orange Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

10 egg whites
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/4 c. sugar
6 egg yolks, well beaten
grated orange rind
2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
Preparation

To egg whites, add salt and beat until foamy; add cream of tartar and beat until stiff.
Very gradually fold in sugar. Divide egg white mixture into equal parts.
