Play Dough I - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. salt
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
3 c. water
3 Tbsp. cooking oil

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients into pan.
Mix liquids and add coloring. Cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly until dough pulls away from pan.
Dough should not feel sticky.
Store in airtight container.
For longer shelf life, store in refrigerator.
