German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 bacon strips
    1/2 c. diced onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    6 c. sliced, cooked, peeled potatoes
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1 1/3 c. water
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In large skillet, fry bacon until crisp.
    Remove and place on paper towels to absorb grease.
    Drain all but enough grease to coat the skillet.
    Add onions to skillet and cook until tender. Pour flour in a small jar with 1/3 cup of the water and shake until blended. Add vinegar and remaining 1 cup water to skillet. Slowly stir in flour mixture, stirring constantly.
    Cook and stir until slightly thick.
    Add sugar.
    Crumble bacon.
    Gently stir in bacon and potatoes.
    Heat through, stirring lightly to coat potato slices.
    Serve warm or cold.
