Easy Apple Kuchen - cooking recipe

2 envelopes active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water (about 110~)
2 large eggs
1 pkg. deluxe yellow cake mix
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. butter or margarine
6 medium apples or 2 (20 oz.) cans pie sliced apples, drained
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water in a large mixer bowl.
Blend in eggs and half of dry cake mix.
Beat for 1 minute at medium speed. Add remaining cake mix and beat for 3 minutes at medium speed. (Batter should be quite stiff but not dough-like.)
Let rest 5 minutes.
Sprinkle flour on board.
Scrape batter out onto prepared board.
Knead batter until the flour is worked in, about 100 strokes.
Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise in warm, draft-free place for 30 minutes.
