Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
2 unbeaten eggs
1 c. mashed ripe bananas
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift together into a large mixing bowl all dry ingredients. Add shortening, eggs and bananas.
Beat 1 1/2 minutes at low speed.
Stir in nuts. Bake in well-greased, lightly floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
