Soft Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. oleo
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light molasses or dark Karo syrup
    1 egg
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream together oleo and sugar. Add molasses or syrup and egg. Beat. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Add to oleo, sugar and molasses mixture; mix well. Roll into small balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
    Makes 4 dozen.
