Seven Minute Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. Karo syrup
    3 egg whites
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring (optional)
Preparation
    Cook in double boiler for 7 minutes, then use over any cake. May add 1 can of coconut flakes.
