Wilt-Proof Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, rinsed and sliced or 2 cans sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. bottled Italian dressing
    1/3 c. finely chopped parsley
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    crisp lettuce leaves
Preparation
    Cook vegetables according to label directions. Drain. Cool slightly. Toss with mushrooms in a large bowl.
    Sprinkle dressing, pepper and parsley over all.
    Toss lightly and refrigerate until ready to serve.
    May be served alone or in a lettuce lined bowl.
