Brown Sugar Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. water
    2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Cook sugar and water to soft ball stage (236\u00b0).
    Gradually add to whites, beating until mixture forms peaks.
    Frosts tops and sides of two 8-inch layers.
    Real good on spice cake.
