Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground chuck
    1/2 c. finely chopped onions
    1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
    1 1/3 c. raw regular rice
    1 lb. can tomatoes
    1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions and pepper in cooking oil and remove.
    Cook meat briefly until red color disappears, but not until meat is brown. Remove excess fat.
    Add tomatoes, pepper and onions combination, seasoning and rice.
    Cook until rice is tender.
