Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    At room temperature, cream butter and sugar.
    Add well beaten eggs and flavorings.
    In another bowl, sift together flour, soda and baking powder.
    Mix dry ingredients and buttermilk with other mixture.
    Beat well.
    Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Ice or glaze as desired.
