Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Measure all dry ingredients except sugar and cinnamon into a large bowl.
With mixer at high speed, beat until well mixed, occasionally scraping bowl.
Put dough in a 9 x 9-inch square baking pan.
In a cup, mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cut into bars while warm.
Makes 20 bars.
