Stew(Lapskaus) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pork, in 1-inch cubes
    1 1/2 lb. veal, in 1-inch cubes
    1 c. onions, chopped
    1/4 c. barley
    4 medium potatoes, cubed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place meat, onions and barley in kettle.
    Cover with water and simmer until tender.
    When meat is almost done, add the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
