Never Fail Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. sugar
    1/4 lb. butter or margarine
    1 (12 fluid oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
    1 (7 oz.) jar Marshmallow Creme
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Melt butter; stir in milk and sugar.
    Bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil over medium heat until mixture reaches 234\u00b0 or soft ball stage, still stirring constantly. Remove from heat at soft ball stage and stir in chocolate pieces until melted.
    Add Marshmallow Creme and nuts until well blended. Pour into greased (buttered) 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cool at room temperature; cut into squares.
    Makes about 3 pounds.
