Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    2 large garlic cloves, minced
    2 large cans tomatoes, coarsely chopped
    1 large can tomato paste
    1 can water
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    1 1/2 Tbsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1 box lasagna noodles (parboiled)
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced (optional)
    1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese, chopped
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 c. grated Romano cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Saute onions in a small amount of olive oil.
    Add garlic. Brown ground beef, sausage and mushrooms.
    Cool mixture.
    Mix the 2 beaten eggs into the mixture.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Toss cheeses together; set aside.
