Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 c. chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can (2 c.) tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    In skillet, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is lightly browned and vegetables are tender.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
