Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped green onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 can kraut, drained and rinsed in cold water
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil; pour over kraut, onions, celery and green pepper.
    Let stand in refrigerator for several hours.
    Keeps a long time.
