Creamy Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    1/2 c. sugar (granulated)
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine flour and milk over heat, stirring constantly, to make a paste.
    Cool.
    Beat together sugar and butter until smooth.
    (In Hawaii, I put my mixing bowl into a bowl of ice to keep everything cool.)
    Add the paste to the sugar and butter.
    Add vanilla.
    Beat until creamy like whipped cream.
    This will frost one cake.
