Wedding Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 stick butter, softened
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 c. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Beat butter with mixer until creamy.
    Add flour, sugar and vanilla, beating until blended.
    Stir in pecans (dough will be stiff).
    Shape into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Remove to wire rack and cool slightly.
    Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar and cool completely on wire rack.
    Makes 4 dozen.
