Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chopped apples
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. cooking oil
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix
    apples, sugar and pecans in a large bowl.\tLet set for about 40 minutes.
    Sift the flour, cinnamon, salt and soda together.
    Add
    slowly
    to\tapple mixture, stirring well.
    Add cooking oil, eggs and vanilla; stir in using about 20 strokes. Pour
    into tube pan which has only been greased on the bottom. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.\tCool and frost if desired.
