Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box dark brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, unbeaten
    1 c. buttermilk or 1 c. milk with 1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut margarine into the flour and sugar.
    Set 1 cup of the mixture aside.
    Add other ingredients and mix well.
    Stir in milk lightly.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.
    Sprinkle with reserved mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes (or until done). Top with Cool Whip.
