Caramels - cooking recipe

2 c. white sugar
2 c. Karo syrup
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1/4 c. oleo
2 c. canned milk
few grains salt
Preparation

Boil until
heavy syrup.
Add, but do not stop boiling, oleo and
canned
milk.\tBoil
until
hard ball stage; pour on buttered pan.
Cut and wrap.
