Green Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 (16 oz.) can green beans
    1 (16 oz.) can English peas
    1 jar pimento pepper
    1 c. chopped sweet pepper
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped onions
Preparation
    Bring sugar and vinegar to a boil and set aside.
    Let cool; then add salad oil and salt.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour liquid over vegetables and let stand 24 hours in refrigerator. Drain before serving.
