Quick Sauerbraten - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. round steak (1/2-inch thick)
    1 envelope brown gravy mix
    1 Tbsp. instant onion or 1/2 c. chopped onion
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    hot buttered noodles
Preparation
    Cut meat into 1-inch squares.
    Brown in 1 tablespoon hot shortening.
    Remove meat; add gravy mix and 2 cups water.
    Bring to boil and add all but the noodles.
    Pour over meat in a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve over noodles.
