Country Style Steak-In-The-Pot - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1/2 c. flour
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cut steak into serving portions.
    Coat with flour.
    Brown on both sides in shortening in a skillet.
    Place in a crock-pot. Sprinkle onion over steak.
    Add soup and water to pan drippings in skillet; mix well.
    Pour over steak.
    Cook on low for 6 hours or until tender.
    Yield:
    4 servings.
