Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 box confectioners sugar

Preparation

Cream together the first 4 ingredients.
Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over cake mixture. Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
