Fresh Corn Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 ears fresh corn
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. finely diced onion
    1/4 c. finely diced green pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/16 tsp. pepper
    1 c. milk
    3 eggs, beaten
Preparation
    Cut corn kernels from cobs.
    Measure 2 2/3 cups without packing down.
    In a small skillet saute butter, onion and bell pepper until wilted.
    In a medium bowl sift together cornstarch, sugar, salt, pepper, milk and eggs.
    Mix well, then add the corn and onion mixture.
    Pour in a pan and bake in a 300\u00b0 oven about 1 hour or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
    Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
    Makes 6 servings.
