Cole Slaw Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. solid butter
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. vinegar
Preparation

Beat up the eggs with the sugar; just beat to break up the eggs thoroughly and combine it with the sugar.
In a small pan, add the other ingredients (the butter, mustard and pepper).
Stir them together and then add the vinegar.
Place the pan over a slow flame and cook until the mixture thickens, like a soft custard. Stir constantly and slowly while cooking.
When the mixture thickens, remove from flame and chill.
When dressing is cold, mix it in thoroughly with the finely grated raw cabbage.
