Ingredients

1/3 c. uncooked rice
4 c. boiled milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a flat baking dish (6 x 11-inch) and place in 300\u00b0 oven.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until rice is tender and pudding is thick and creamy, not dry.
Stir every 20 minutes with a fork, turning under the brown top.
Serve hot or cold.
