Shrimp Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. cooking oil
6 Tbsp. flour (heaping)
1 small onion, chopped
dash of red pepper
salt and pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. water
1 lb. shrimp
cooked rice
Preparation

Brown flour in cooking oil until very dark.
Add onion, red pepper, salt and pepper and saute onion.
Stir in tomato sauce and water.
Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer.
Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook for 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
