Barbecued Chicken Breasts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 whole chicken breasts, halved
    4 Tbsp. oil
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
    1 tsp. dried thyme or basil leaves
    3 cloves garlic (whole)
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Wash chicken and pat dry.
    For marinade, blend together oil, soy sauce, lemon juice and brown sugar.
    Place chicken in a single layer in a glass dish.
    Sprinkle with garlic, pepper, thyme or basil leaves and whole cloves.
    Pour marinade over chicken.
    Let stand in refrigerator for at least 4 hours, turning chicken over from time to time.
