White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. shelled pecans
1 lb. candied cherries
1 lb. candied pineapple
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
5 large eggs
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 oz. vanilla extract
1 oz. lemon extract
Preparation

Chop nuts in medium size pieces.
Dredge with 1/4 cup flour. Cream butter and sugar until it is fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time.
Sift together remaining flour and baking powder.
Fold in butter-egg mixture.
Stir in extracts.
Blend in flour and nuts. Grease 10-inch tube pan.
Line with waxed paper and grease again. Pour in pan; place in cold oven.
Bake 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
When done, cool in pan on cake rack.
