Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. celery, finely chopped
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. mashed or boiled potatoes, put through a sieve
    2 c. hot milk
    1/4 c. shredded carrots
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter. Add salt, celery and pepper. When onion and celery are tender, add mashed potatoes and stir in the hot milk. Simmer slowly for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
