Hard Rolls(Rundstykker) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    2 1/4 c. milk
    2 cubes fresh yeast
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 1/2 to 4 c. flour
Preparation
    Scald milk; add margarine and sugar and stir to blend.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Pour mixture over yeast in mixing bowl; stir.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Add flour and salt and mix thoroughly.
    Turn out on baking board and divide into 20 pieces.
    Shape each piece into smooth roll and place on baking sheet.
    Let rise about 30 minutes. Brush with egg and sprinkle with poppy seed.
    Bake 10 minutes at 450\u00b0 or until golden brown.
