Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. popped corn (fix ahead)
2/3 c. corn syrup
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 Tbsp. oleo or butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Place popcorn in large bowl or pan.
Combine sugar, syrup, water and vinegar.
Heat to boiling.
Add cream of tartar; boil to soft ball stage (250\u00b0).
Remove from fire.
Add soda, oleo and vanilla.
Pour over popcorn; stir and form into balls.
