Mom'S Never Fail Dill Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. fresh cucumbers
2 heads dill
3 Tbsp. salt
1 c. vinegar
3 cloves garlic, cut fine
2 Tbsp. mixed whole spices
Preparation

Pack the clean cucumbers closely in a half-gallon jar. Sprinkle the chopped heads of dill through as the jar is packed. Add the salt, vinegar, garlic and spices and fill the jar with cold water.
Screw on the cover.
Leave for a few days where the jar may be shaken occasionally until the salt has dissolved.
Do not use for 2 weeks.
