Chess Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix (chocolate or butter flavor)
1 stick (1/4 c.) butter, melted
1 egg
1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
4 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

First Layer:
Mix together the first 3 ingredients and press into buttered 9 x 13-inch pan.
