New Orleans Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. chicken, pork or wild game, precooked and cut into small pieces
6 c. meat stock or water
1 box Zatarain's gumbo mix
8 oz. cut green okra
1 (8 oz.) bag small fresh or frozen shrimp
Preparation

Mix all of the ingredients in a 2-quart saucepan; bring mixture to a boil.
Reduce heat; stir and cover.
Simmer over low heat for 25 minutes.
Makes 8 (1 cup) servings.
