Iced Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. blanched almonds (whole)
    1 c. pure sugar cane sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat almonds, sugar and butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, until almonds are toasted and sugar is golden brown, about 15 minutes.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Spread nuts on a sheet of foil; sprinkle with salt.
    Break into 2 or 3 nut clusters.
