Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium yams
    1 stick butter
    1 can Carnation evaporated milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Boil yams for 25 minutes; cool, then peel.
    Place yams, butter, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in mixing bowl.
    Add can of Carnation milk.
    Whip at medium speed until all lumps are gone.
    Pour into an unbaked pie shell.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Let cool at room temperature.
    Serve with whipped cream on top.
