"Uncooked" Peach Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    9 ripe peaches
    baked pie shell
    1 pt. heavy cream
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch and sugar; add to 1 cup water and cook until clear and thickened.
    Add lemon juice to mixture; add sliced, peeled peaches to mixture.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Cover with whipped cream.
    Chill.
