Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. thick applesauce
1 c. mixed nuts and raisins
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar and cream until light.
Add egg and beat well.
Toss 1 1/2 cups flour with cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
Add flour and applesauce to butter mixture alternately, beating to combine after each addition, beginning and ending with flour.
Toss nuts and raisins with 2 tablespoons flour; fold into batter.
Bake in a greased and floured 9-inch tube pan in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
