Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns, slightly thawed
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    8 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Saute onion in 1 stick butter.
    Add potatoes, sour cream, cheese, soup, salt and pepper.
    Spread in a 9 x 13-inch casserole. Melt 1 stick butter and add crushed corn flakes.
    Spread over potato mixture.
    Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350\u00b0.
