Porcupine Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. tomato soup
    1 lb. ground meat
    1/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/4 c. minced onion
    2 tsp. minced parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Shape into 1 1/2-inch balls.
    Brown in 2 teaspoons shortening with minced garlic in a large skillet.
    Blend in the rest of the canned soup and water.
    Cover and simmer about 40 minutes or until rice is tender.
    Serves 6.
